I was living one year in this fishing village near Rio De Janeiro and I decided
(after looking at the same beach everyday) to paint the rocks on this beach:
to change the environment and make a personal color interference in the landscape.

I began my work painting the rocks and photographing them.

I finish my work day by day, painting passers-by on the beach;
fishermen, women and others that were around this special situation.

The Mass-media wasn’t there. It was a solitary work.
It was one of the most extraordinary experiences of my life
because I put colors in everything and everyone I could reach on that beach.
