Art has become a commodity like any other product in our society. Artists must prostitute themselves to have their art diffused in today’s world, dominated by market laws. This relationship remains hidden behind a veil of normal relations between the artist and society, which is instead based on dishonesty and scam.

“ Art and Prostitution” puts in the face of visitors the true reality of the relationship between art and the market. By placing a price on the artist’s intimate parts and by the writing “Space available for art dealers” it shows how the work of the artist is totally dependent on the market surrounding him.

The generalized commercialization of words, bodies, souls, nature, culture, is the central character of our age and violence is the central point of ideological device.

The art work describes the moral and spiritual emptiness in a society that measures everything in terms of what it consumes. The art doctrine is based on quick profit earning and we ignore how often art is disturbed by the time spent in dedicating ourselves to find money to survive. The evolution of the market has substituted the human evolution. I always wanted to destroy this logic of art profit because I have no intention to be destroyed by it. I prefer to be ignored with decency..
