The use of cluster bombs is prohibited by the Ottawa convention. Each single cluster bomb disseminates more than 60,000 steel fragments and is primarily designed to destroy both lightly armored vehicles and human beings.

A single B-52 airplane can liberate 1,800,000 bombs at one time. We cannot forget that these airplanes have bombed places of the planet non-stop for many weeks.

Each bomb CBU-87 destroys everything within a surface area the equivalent of 3 football fields. 10% of the bombs don’t’ explode when they reach the ground and remain hidden in the sand or in the forest and work like anti-person or anti-vehicle mines giving death to innocent farmers.
